Cycle safe

On Monday and Friday we had cycle safe.
That first Friday we just did some learning and drills to see if we were ready to go on the road. We managed to go on the road on Friday for a little bit. When we got back we did a couple more things before the end of the day then we had the weekend .

That next day we were going riding for the whole day and on the day we learnt to do more things but on the road. Before we got back we went to the beach and Thomson Park.

        In room 1 we had to rite about a diary about a fiction character          Captain America

Hi my name is Captain America and today I’m trying to catch red skull my worst enemy.  Soon we moved out and started our mission to defeat  red skull. The moment we get in I get ambushed. Luckily my teammates  managed to save  me. They got me out of there really quickly. When we got back to base people were badly hurt,  so we took them to the medic ,before we started to plan out our next attack……

When we got to Arthurs Pass we went on a walk to Devils punch bowl  and when we got  up we put the spring water into our drink bottle. When we were going up we had to count how many stairs there were 182.  We did a river walk and a river crossing. Then went swimming in the river.

The next day I saved some one named Brian who lost his head. then had a blind walk .After that we went to another water fall .And then did hut building.

The next day we had lots of  activities. Then started stacking stones .I was grateful  f0r  going to camp and every thing we did . The highlight of Monday was swimming in the river . My highlight of Tuesday  was saving someone . My highlight  of Wednesday was stacking stones . Something hard was getting  asleep. And the apple crumble was good.

Beach Ed on beach ed day we first walked to north beach and met the life guards  after we met the life guards  we had a club tour and we saw everything  like the IRB .

A and P show when I got to school I saw lots of dogs and a tank and a big truck some ones Private car and a fire truck and also a petting zoo.

Canterbury Zones for Athletics I got in to zones for 8 hundred meters and came second place then like a month later I went to Canterbury I dont now what place I  came .

Fun Run  first we did the opsticall course then we did one of the runs  the short one then we got painted all the collors  of the rinbow.

First We walked to North Beach surf life saving  club. And then we met the live guard.s after that we had a club tour.  first I saw some of  the eqitmet,  then I saw  IRB , then we saw the  we saw the saftey  eqitment. Then we did games on the beach. we played stuck in the mud.  and then we had lunch  my dad was there and he bought me  a cake from across  the road .then we did beach ed got talent. wich is where we get into are groups and make a play  a rap  and then the girls  drest to get into the water.  Then the boys got drest  as well. We all learnt about rips after that we all got in the water but only half of us got a body board and some just swam but we did swap over  I was the second group.would you like to go to go to beach ed.

For the past couple of weeks  Room 1  has been working on persuasive writing here is a piece of mine.

Kids should wear mufti  because If you lose your uniform you would have to find it and then you would be late. And you have to bye a new pair every year.  They’re really ugly because they are way to gray and I don’t like the collar.

That is why I think kids should wear mufti.

On Friday  6 of  September  we went to  Travis wetland  for a field trip.  We  saw so much birds      and some eel’s the most  comin bird we sowe was the  Canada goose   now I will tell you sum fact about the wetland.  80%  of Otatahi   was wetland now it’s almost gone . Water is clean but brown.   now I will tell some of the birds there paradise shell duck , Canadian geese, black swan , grey speckled duck ,mallard  ,welcome swallows, black cormorant, Australian shovel duck, south island fantail,  pukeko,. now some of the bugs midge larva, back swimmer, water boatman,  mite,  leech,water worm ,water flea ,damselfly nymph. wold you want to go to the Travis wetland?

We have been learning about the fascinating story of the three wise men. These wise men, also called the Magi, played a key role in the Christmas tale. Exploring the journey of the three wise men helps us appreciate the magic and togetherness that Christmas brings, showcasing a timeless story filled with wonder and joy.

A long, long time ago, in a little town called Bethlehem, a super special baby named Jesus was born. It happened in a cosy stable, not in a big fancy hospital. Mary and Joseph, his mum and dad, were there to welcome him. The night sky was twinkling with a bright star, just like the ones we see during Christmas time. This baby Jesus grew up to be really awesome person, and we celebrate his birthday every year at Christmas with lots of joy and love!
